When I delete files, they do not appear in my recycle bin.

I tried right clicking the recycle bin and checking the properties, but 'Do not move files to the Recycle bin. Remove files immediately when deleted' is not checked, and I have my maximum recycle bin size set at 10%.

Can anyone help with this?

If find this works best in save mode with command line, so reboot, tap f8 and choose that.

Navigate to the root, by typing
cd..
<enter>
until you are sitting at the
c:\>
prompt

type

attrib -r -a -s -h recycler
<enter>
cd recycler
<enter>
attrib -h info*.*
<enter>
del info
<enter>

Restart the computer

If that does not fix it, repeat the above, but
before rebooting, type
cd..
<enter>
attrib -r -a -s -h recycler
<enter>
del recycler
<enter>

Reboot

You will loose all that is in your recycle bin, but this should restore it to normal behavior.
