EAX to Dolby sound converter

Now that im a member of the forum I may as well post this as well...

I have a sound card (audigy 2) with a digital output to a sony reciever. The reciever recognizes dolby and dts, but not any form of eax. Is there any way I could convert (real time) the eax from programs/games to a recognnizable format for the reciever to recognize. Its so much nicer gaming in 5.1, as im sure you can all attest to...

Any game that uses EAX uses dolby as well for the most part it should be in sound settings, mind you odd that a reciever unit wont work because of it as the output is usually just amplified and cleared up then routed to its respective speaker irrelevant of its audio effects added.
