i have battlefield 1942 and after finishing all of the maps i want to go oline to play i have tried to connect many times but i keep getting a message saying connection to game server failed

when i search for available servers or games they are all greyed out i dont no if this is normal or if it means that i cant connect.
in my bios it says
Game port address _ disabled. do i have to enable this option? if so which 1 201 or 203

please help this is driving me up the wall,
thanks for any help :tazz:

P.S i have broadband

The game port in the BIOS refers to the game port on your sound card, the game port is basically a joystick port.

Is your firewall blocking the game?

at the moment i am running windows firewall i also have VET antivirus, adaware, spybot search and destroy and microsoft spyware (i no these arnt firewalls) is there a way i can change the settings to allow it if that is the problem?
