Random Shutting Down/Restarting

Hey, I was wondering if there was any like serious things going on with my comp just restarting...I oc my Nvidia 6800GT, i was thinking maybe it reaches max heat to the point when I'ts set to shutdown, I've been playing Guild Wars recently and FEAR and its done it to me a couple times. Sooo...yea, just wonderin.

Sounds heat related, try reseting the clocks to normal and see what happens not really much need to overclock it, if it still happens monitor the temps and see what they are if they are going to be a problem if they are fine its something else come back and we can try something else.

eventvwr.msc
<enter>

Look under systems and applications for items with red Xs that happened at the SAME time as your problem...list them here.

*cough* ummmm...yea, i dont get where u put the code, (directed to moderator of squishy goodness) And to WarriorScott, i will record my heats, and then not oc my card and play and see if it happens.

if you press the start button...then the run button...a window will show up says run at the top...and then "type the name of the yadda yadda yadda" in that drop down box type eventvwr.msc
