Hi, i am considiering putting a few RJ45 outlets within my home, does anyone have a tutorial (with images) that will show me how to do this?

While wiring a cat5 cable is universal (either patch or crossover cable), the various outlets made by different manufacturers can differ, so a tutorial on the outlet might be counter-productive.

Fortunately, if you buy any kind of boxed outlet, as opposed to generic, it will have a diagram in the directions...

I can tell you this...my brother in law who could not wire a light switch put in a couple of network jacks and they both worked so if he can do it, I assure you that you can!
