Hi and welcome to GeeksToGo! My name is Sam and I will be helping you. :tazz:
I apologize for the delay getting to your log, the helpers here are very busy.

Before we can get started on fixing your problem you must change the location of Hijackthis. It should not run directly from your desktop or a temp directory.
  • Download and run the HijackThis autoinstall program
  • Please choose the default location of C:\Program Files as the destination.
  • Run the program only from that location from now on. It is essential that you follow these steps or certain important features of the program will not function correctly.
Once you have Hijackthis running from this folder, please reboot and post a new hijackthis log as a reply in this thread.

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then close all other windows--you should only see HijackThis on your Desktop--and click the Fix Checked button.

Reboot and post a new hijackthis log.
I see signs of four separate antivirus or firewall programs in your log. What are you currently using?

I assume that TrendMicro is old then. Let's get rid of the services still there.

Remove a service
  • Click Start -> Run -> (type) services.msc
  • Scroll down and find the service called PC-cillin Personal Firewall
    • When you find it, double-click on it to open up Properties.
    • Click the Stop button(if available)
    • Change the Startup Type to Disabled.
    • Now hit Apply and then Ok.
Take the same steps with these services also: Trend NT Realtime Service and Trend Micro Proxy Service

  • Run Hijackthis and click on Open the Misc Tools section -> Delete an NT Service
  • Copy and paste this into the text box and click OK.

    PccPfw

Also delete these services: Tmntsrv and tmproxy

  • Close Hijackthis and any other open windows
  • Reboot and post a new hijackthis log.
Now I need to see a different type of log from Hijackthis
  • Run Hijackthis.
  • Click on "Open the Misc Tools section".
  • Next click on "Open uninstall manager".
  • Press the button 'save list'. It will open a Notepad file.
  • Place the content of that file here in your in your next reply.

No problem on the delay. :tazz:

I'm puzzled about a couple things.

1. In your first log you had Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed. But in your last few logs you are running an unpatched version of XP. Did you uninstall SP2?

2. You have both Mcafee and Zone Alarm installed on your computer. Do you have Mcafee's firewall installed or just virusscan? Also I don't see Mcafee running in the background. Is it enabled?
