I have recently reformatted my computer, and now when I attempt to use any sort of FTP access with internet explorer, I get a text-based interface, rather than the standard folder view, how do I change this?

Open Internet Explorer. At the top of Internet Explorer, click on Tools > Internet Options. Click on the Advanced tab. Scroll down and check the option Enable folder view for FTP sites.
