system32 is not a hidden folder..it is protected..but it's not hidden...you should be able to see it...and you should be able to search for it...but....to my knowledge...you shouldn't be able to run windows without it
he just said that it was moved and the name of the file was changed in that form of hidden
i even searched for the fol;der ECT cant be found :S(its located in the system32 folder

to do this...when you get to the screen that let's you choose your user..press ctrl alt del...this will bring up a clasic logon screen...type in administrator as the username and try nothing as the password...unless you have a password set

- Click Start
- Double click on “My Computer”
- Select Tools menu, and click on Folder Options..then click the View tab
- Under Hidden Files and Folders heading, select “Show hidden files and folders”
- uncheck the “hide protected operating systems files” options.
- uncheck the “Hide file extensions for known file types” box
- Click “yes” to confirm, then click “ok”
Close out of there, and tell us if you can see the folder now.

if something moved your system32 folder and hid it..you've got more problems than not being able to find the thing hehe...he just said that it was moved and the name of the file was changed in that form of hidden
