How do I stop Yahoo messenger from starting up and putting the log in box on my desktop every time I boot up? This is so annoying and it takes 3 clicks to close it!!!

Go to start>>run>>type in msconfig

Go to start-up tab and uncheck the yahoo messenger service. Reboot and see if that helps. :tazz:

Alternatively, open the Yahoo Messenger, click on "Messenger" in the toolbar and select "Preferences". Under the "General" catagory, uncheck the box next to "Automatically start Yahoo! Messnger"...click "Apply" and "Ok".

That should do the trick....
