Sound device not found

I installed the newest ATI drivers. I restarted my pc and no sound. Is this a problem with the new ATI drivers?

My sound device is: C-Media AC97

start/
control panel/
system/
hardware tab/
device manager button/
click the + next to sound video and game controllers/

are there any yellow ? or ! in there?
