A little over a month ago I had an attack which was found by Black Ice Defender. Unfortunatley the history window has dropped the description so I can't explain exactly what it was. I have attached the black ice evidence log so maybe that will help.
The attack came from: IP: 205.180.86.14, DNS: media.fastclick.net.
Ever since then, when I go to a website which uses fastclick's services I keep getting an error message "The operation timed out while trying to access media.fastclick.net". Although the function of the website does not seem to be affected, these things pop up every minute or so and are very annoying.
Web searches have pointed at several viruses, but I have run virus and trojan scans and found nothing. A search for files associated with those viruses has also shown nothing.
Also the default Netscape search engine seems to have been disabled - it also times out.
Beyond that my system seems to be fine.
I have win98se, netscape 7.2 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040804 Netscape/7.2 (ax) )
I use AVG Antivirus free version - updated daily. And Black Ice Defender version 3.6.coo.

Anyone have any ideas?
