i installed nero 7.0 and it has now become the default player for all my music and media files on my pc

how do i set it back to windows media player?

Open media player, click tools, options, file types, either tick select all and click apply or tick the individual types you want media player to run then click apply, close then re-open media player

You can expect this to happen whenever you install a media player, unless you specify you do not want it to be the default during the installation

oH NOOOOOOO I HAD THAT SAME PROBLEM, I JUST DELETED OUT OF MY PROGRAMS AT THE CONTROL PANEL. AND EVEN STILL IT WAS GIVING ME PROBS, SO I WENT INTO THE C DRIVE AND WENT TO PROGRAMS AND TOOK IT OUTTA THERE.
