Hi, I reformatted one of my hard drives last night...

open up the tower box and unplug each device at a time and then chk if the noise is getting minimised or not,
this is a hardware issue that u r facing so may be the powersupply or may be any hardware device on ur computer.
unplug the cd drive and then the hard drive at a time one by one and chk if the noise is getting minimised,
u can also unplug the plug for the motherboard and chk out...
if the noise is still not geting minimised then it might be an issue with the power supply and u have to reaplce it :tazz:

hmm.... I am not sure if I trust myself to do that. I'll ask one of my friends to do that for me sometime.. thanks.. I'll post back soon, hopefully, with some results.

ok just chk at the back of the tower box if u have any thumb screws at the back or not,
open up the thumb screws and chk out ur cables from the smps to the devices and make sure u dont unplug the fans!!
just go thru the steps i gave u before and i am sure u can do it ur self...

ok fine,
u have to open up the right side if u look the tower box from the back,
and then do the rest,,,u might require a phillip screw diver
