Hi i am reading a directory of files, and sending the file contents into lists. I keep getting the error
"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space"
Does anybody know what causes this?

you ran out of heap space. Try adding -Xm500000000 to your javqa command..e.g. >java -Xm50000000000 ClassName
