Sony DVD RW DRU-710A drive makes computer and mouse unusually laggy as of recent, it then crashes computer when: watching DVD's, Reading data DVD's and copying data from data DVD's to computer.

Does anyone think i should buy a new DVD drive?

I originally posted here, although there may be a problem with the DVD drive and not windows XP as 1st thought.

Well there are other ways :tazz:

You might want to purchase a cd-rom cleaner and see if that helps.
