How do I shutdown a remote computer in Ms-Dos?

Full description would be nice thanks everybody

shutdown -s -m \\computername

i think...... the -s may not be needed..but i believe it is

my hr manager got up from his desk (stupid idea on his part) so i was able to test...you do need the -s so that it can distinguish between a -r..you can send the -a switch to abort the shutdown
