I have a few unknown files on my computer such as lockbr.exe and mxndex.dll and I know that lockbr.exe isn't used by any of my programs and somehow it self archived itself and I unarchived it and deleted it and disconnected my computer from the internet (I have t3 internet connection through my cable provider) and I ran ad-ware first and got rid of all the adware it could find and then I ran registry mechanic and restarted and lockbr.exe found it's way back to my computer and I have firefox and before I got these from a website that my friend sent me randomly (they just uploaded onto my computer without my knowledge of it) I never used to get pop ups but now ever since I got these pop ups having been going like crazy and I can't get rid of them... some one please help me cuz it's very frustrating

Please go to the Malware Forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the Start Here.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself...then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum. Be patient, the Malware Forum is a very busy place and a two or three day wait is not unusual. DO NOT REPLY TO OR BUMP YOUR OWN LOG. If it shows a reply it may be overlooked as one that is being worked on.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
