I dont think this is cause by a malware...
Did a search about this error and here's what I found...
They all show the same thing, your IEPEERS.dll file seems to be corrupted.
It seems you are using XP and the links I provided doesnt provide any step to solve the problem in XP.
So what I can do is provide the file to you, download it and replace your copy.
Please follow the following instruction cautiously
First, you need to look for your iepeers.dll copy.
it is located here C:\WINDOWS\system32
-Click on Start
(You can also just copy this and then paste it on the Run window)
-Click OK, C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder/window should come up.
on it and click Cut
it temporarily on your desktop or a different location and it will serve as a back up
(just in case my suggestion didn't work)
Download a new copy of iepeers.dll here
SAVE IT on C:\WINDOWS\system32
Upon clicking on the link, you'll see a pop up asking you to Open
, the a Save As
window will come up.
Click on My Computer
on the left hand side, then double click
on your Local drive (C:\)
on the Main Screen
on the WINDOWS
Locate the sytem32
folder and double click
it and SAVE IT THERE
See if that works!
