Just had a question and Im new to the site so please let me know if I posted this in the wrong area. My question is about WinFix 2006, is this program legitimate or not, I see alot of people that have had numerous problems with it, and Im one of them. But my problems surfaced when I started getting all kinds of junk coming onto my system and then thinking I was going to help my situation I downloaded the program but then it only seemed to get worse. :) Ive called their 800 number, unfortunately after buisness hours of course, but Im going to hit them again tommorrow and ask what the hecks up.
Does anyone know if they are legitimate or are they scamers :tazz: just trying to get people's money.

Hi Bulldog455...

Does anyone know if they are legitimate or are they scamers ph34r.gif just trying to get people's money.

You hit the nail right on the head... :tazz:

You might want to go to the Malware Forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the Start Here at the top of the page. That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself...then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum. Be patient, the Malware Forum is a very busy place and a two or three day wait is not unusual. DO NOT REPLY TO OR BUMP YOUR OWN LOG. If it shows a reply it may be overlooked as one that is being worked on.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

Thanks for the advice. :tazz: So bottom line is I mad a huge mistake in paying $39.95 for that stupi program and it bit me in the neter-regions, but now Ive got even worse issues besides the computer. These egg-heads have my bank info and the amount of $39.95 has yet to come through, so basically these guys can and most likely will take that amount and then some. This is deffinetly one of those times I really wish I could reachout and touch someone. :)

Has anyone else done this and dealt with the issue, besides the computer side of it all?
