To the first quote, in the program, when i pressed "C" to change the current limits, it reads "please enter the number of concurrent half open connections <10-16777214, esc = auto 10/50>"

Was wondering if my speed would be faster setting it to 16777214, instead of the advised 100.

To the second quote, im not too sure about that except that im on a dsl cable. Download speed is averaged to 13kb/s, which is believe is very slow. If this is the so-called advertised speed, mine is 512

No, that won't make your Internet speed faster on it's own; it'll simply allow you to make that amount of concurrent connections (it doesn't mean that that's how many connections you will actually make).

Please run this Speed Test, and once completed, please let me know the upload and download speed that you recieved.

Thanks,
Dan.

Oic, Cos although i dont get disconnected now, i still get warning that reads :

TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.

Will it be a good idea if i have my open-half connection set to a higher level instead of 100, or is that optimal and higher levels are risky?

Thats my upload and download speed. I think it has ended cos i waited ages for the upload speed to be shown like download's.

Anyway, im not sure if location mattered, cos i live in singapore (asian country) .

That's a very poor download / upload speed; I live in Australia, and I did my test to the same server, and here are my results:
Download Speed: 2388 kbps (298.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 113 kbps (14.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

Goto Start, Run, type CMD, press 'OK' and then perform a Trace route by typing: Tracert location - ie: Tracert Google.com
Once the trace has completed, please post the results here by right-clicking on the window, selecting 'Select All', and then pressing the Enter key; post the results here.

Thanks,
Dan.

The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer JOHN that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{0D8F8068-002C-4714-8664. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced.

Yes.

Do you by any chance have any friends/family members who have the same DSL connection (type) as you? If so, would you be able to perform the same tracert on their computer and post the results? I'm simply curious as I'm not sure what sort of speeds your DSL should be getting, however from your tracert, it looks like your connection gets very choppy as it goes along. I would highly recommend contacting your ISP and asking them why, though.

You could also restart your computer into Safe Mode with Networking and then perform the same trace and post the results.
