Hello one and all...I'm not sure if this is the right way to do this but I'm having huge problems with my pc and I can't fix it. On Feb 3rd I got a virus after visting godaddy.com since then I can't update any software and I'm getting a run32dll.exe error. I've tried going into msconfig and grabbing the file from an xp disk but it says file can't be found. It's also not allowing me to upload info from cd or dvd. I'm using my work pc to try to rectify the situation. Please advise MANY THANX! -Pcollins78

Hi pcollins78...

I think the first step here is to make sure that your machine is not infected.

Please go to the Malware Forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the Start Here.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself...then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum. Be patient, the Malware Forum is a very busy place and a two or three day wait is not unusual. Do Not Reply To Or Bump Your Own Topic. If it shows a reply it may be overlooked as one that is being worked on.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
