I'm working on a friend's computer, who needed a full restore due to corruption. After the restore, I've lost the ability to boot to his Win98 partition. I can get there if I disable the HDD with XP on it, but he wants his OS choices menu back.

I think all I need to do is add a line to the boot.ini, but I'm not sure what to write. Can someone help?

A repair should have left that alone

The repair option wasn't available. I had to format and repartition the HDD that had XP. I had to install 95, then install a 98 upgrade, and then finally the XP upgrade.
