Hey everybody

My computer had some virus's but has since been given the "all clear." Now I have a small problem with the CD BURNER/ DVD BURNER combo drive. When I try to burn anything it takes a long time to get started. When it does, however, it appears to burn fine. DOes anyone have any ideas on how to speed this up.

Also I now use AVG virus software, but it is unsuccessful in getting the updates. I get the error that it may not be working and a reinstall might be in order. Do you think a re-install would help?

1 gig ram

Wouldn't hurt to reinstall...also check to ensure a firewall is not blocking it

As for the slowness...can you reinstall nero after uninstalling it?

I will re-install the AVG, but I don't have a copy of Nero any more.
