Hey mods, well I get this lovely blue screen after the game has been playing for about 1-5 minutes, XP crashes, then says TMHIDF.SYS error (file obviously)...and other important info...."IRQ not less then or equal to"..........

so Here I am...

Also, I have NO malware, no viruses, nothing like that, as I just was swept clean by your Dr's in your other forum thread.

You guys rock, if any one can save my sorry a$$ its you. ...man I love you guys. :tazz:

Hi!

The error you are receiving applies to a driver error. When was the last time you updated your chipset, video and sound card drivers? Also, what version of DirectX do you have installed? Also it would be useful to know what type of Video Card you have.

Well first of all, everything worked fine before, obviously I did SOMEthing, oh yeah, I installed the FORCEWARE drivers from NVIDEA, I think that screwed it up, so I installed the drivers for NVIDEA that come WITH Battlefield....still did not work...

HERES THE LIST:

G-card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900
processor: AMD Athalon XP 3000+
DVD: Asus DVD-RW
monitor: Viewsonic VX900-2
drive: 80 gig SATA RAID Seagate

Yes to the IRQ less then or equal error that you are receiving along with it. :tazz: Which pertains to a driver issue and since you said you just updated your video card driver, I suggest you roll-back that driver like I said in my previous post.

Then find and download the driver you used to have installed, making sure to uninstall the current driver through Add/Remove Programs before doing so.

It's your video card driver like I have said repeatedly. Just for kicks, try what I suggested. :tazz:
