I had lots of problems see topic:
http://www.geekstogo...opic=93908&st=0

I had to reinstall. Now, after the reinstalling I can't update because it says there are errors. Many times when I log on I can't procede due to a blue screen. HELP!!! I had reinstall in the last week like 3 times to see if I can solve the problem by myself.

start > run, type
eventvwr.msc
<enter>

Look under systems and applications for items with red Xs that happened at the SAME time as your problem...list them here.

I don't remember if there is any error during installation. But I received errors in the update and blue screen. No I can log on only in safe mode.

Did you get anything similar to this

When you try to install Microsoft Windows XP, you may receive an error message similar to one or both of the following error messages:
Failed to install product catalog.
-or-
STOP 0x0000008E (0x00000005,0xBF869F22,0xF9470688,0x00000000)
CAUSE
This behavior may occur if one of the following conditions is true: • The Catroot2 folder is not correctly deleted during the installation.
• Therandom access memory (RAM) configuration is not compatible with Windows XP.
• One or more of the RAM modules on your computer do not work correctly.
