Hi,

I have seen quite a few posts regarding similar errors and intend to run the latest version of CWshredder, spybot etc later today but I thought I would see if anyone could see anything wrong specifically with this Hijack file.

What happened was I installed SP2 on my mum's computer, intending then to update all the virus definition etc but then folders wouldn't open or would take ages if they did, IE stopped working and ultimately a Dr Watson error appeared and the system froze.

I had a look here and saw a couple of similar posts (there are many more now) annd as a result booted into safe mode uninstalled XP SP2 and now it works but with some Malwhere installed. If anyone can see anything specific with thi HJT log then please advise otherwise I'll just try running CWshredder etc and see what happens.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Paddy Taylor

Hi,

I have run, Cwshredder and spybot and quite a few bits were removed, I will try and post another HJT log, but if anyone does see anything wrong with this original log then please let me know as I intend to install service pack 2 this week and will cry if it all goes wrong again.

Thanks everyone
