Word Document Restore

Hi All! Sorry to repost the same question, but I am desperately trying to recover information I deleted from a document. I was working in a previously created Microsoft Word document, and when I was done I saved my new progress; however, there was some information that I deleted out of the document while working on it, and I now I need it back. Is there any way to restore a document to its previous state before the last save, or is it gone forever?? Any help would be greatly appreciated! (I have Windows XP, if that helps.)
