Ok, so I got this laptop brand new for $3000. Lent it to a friend and he crashed it (Windows XP crashed that is).

I re-installed Windows XP and now I have two problems with the laptop:

Problem No. 1: When I go on websites in Internet Explorer and scroll up and down, the screen lags and the refresh rate is really low.
How do you make the scrolling smooth in Internet Explorer.

Problem No. 2: The sound is nowhere to be heard. Why is this? And remember that this is a laptop and the speakers are in built. Also, even before the computer crashed the sound sounded dodgy. Any tips?

P.S. I know that I have to download some drivers, the question is which ones and how do I find out what the drivers for the laptop are.

P.P.S. The laptop is a Packard Bell and ye, for your information it's um... Model: MIT-RHE-BT and all that.

Hello Kosta Kondratenko and welcome to G2G!

It sounds like you need graphics card and sound card drivers.

If this is your laptop you can download the drivers from the support pages located here.
