Some time ago I had a motorola surfboard cable modem. In device manager (under network adapters)it is listed three times. When I try to delete each of them, I get an error message saying I cannot delete them because they may be used to start windows. How do I work around this to delete them?

I thank everyone in advance for your help!

No, not using a usb modem. Trying to get my wireless to work so I can surf at Starbucks or whereever.
