I have ripped a bunch of cds onto my computer for use in Itunes. I am now transferring computers and I'd like to transfer all songs (and have backups) on MP3 Style cds. Only I cannot figure out how to format the ripped cd songs into an MP3 Format to burn onto the cd.
Thanks

I just went and checked on my old 98...and I downloaded a free program called Switch. But when I went to check it for you, it said the free period had expired. So, I guess you can use the trial version. It was pretty easy to use. I am not really that proficient on ripping music, etc. I just know enough to get by. Hope that helps. :tazz:

if you import a regular cd or mp3 cd into itunes (or drag and drop you songs in), you can go to the preferences pane and go to advanced, the importing tab will let you pick options to encode any audio file into a mp3 or other format or go to burning and adjust your cd settings to you liking (make sure you have the latest version)
