[hrpoonloue]

After running all the antispyware scanners I still can't get rid of the psguard registry keys, ewido and microsoft antispyware beta detect and delete them , but they always come back. Please help.

Yep, that's what we needed to see.

Please follow these steps:

• Please make sure that you can View Hidden Files
  • Click Start -> My Computer
  • Select Tools -> Folder options
  • Select the View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' (or 'Show all files') is enabled.
  • Also make sure that 'Display the contents of system folders' is checked.
  • Make sure "Hide extensions for known file types" is unchecked
  • Make sure "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" is unchecked
  • For more info on how to show hidden files click here.
  
  
  
• Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then close all other windows--you should only see HijackThis on your Desktop--and click the Fix Checked button.

Please go HERE to run Panda's ActiveScan

• Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
• A new window will open...click the Check Now button
• Enter your Country
• Enter your State/Province
• Enter your e-mail address and click send
• Select either Home User or Company
• Click the big Scan Now button
• If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
• It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
• When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
• When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location. Post the contents of the ActiveScan report along with a new hijackthis log.

I performed the performed the hijack portion, but when i try to scan my computer with panda is says that there is an error downloading active scan. No matter what i do it won't work. Please Advise.

Your log looks much better.

• Click Start -> Run -> (type) services.msc
• Scroll down and find the service called Serv-U
  • When you find it, double-click on it to open up Properties.
  • Click the Stop button(if available)
  • Change the Startup Type to Disabled.
  • Now hit Apply and then Ok.
  
  
• Run Hijackthis and click on Open the Misc Tools section -> Delete an NT Service
• Copy and paste this into the text box and click OK.

• Close Hijackthis and any other open windows
• Reboot and post a new hijackthis log.
