Why are you running the online TrendMicro scan? I see you have the program installed already right?

I also see that you have Norton installed as well. Try not to install more than one antivirus on the same computer as they may/will conflict with each other. So decide which one you want to keep and uninstall the other one.

Let's try disabling some programs from startup also since you have a lot of unnecessary startup programs. We are not removing any programs, just stopping them from startup. You can still run them manually when needed :tazz:

Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following if they still exist and hit 'Fix Checked' after you check the last one:

no problems
i was running some of nortons stuff from
their norton utilities but not antivirus
i've taken that off now though

That's ok then....it looks like it's just the Norton Protect and unerase program. You may keep that if you wish...
