Hi there

Most modern monitors have an OSD button on them which will display a menu on screen allowing you to adjust the brightness/contrast etc?

Does your monitor have anything like this?

Most monitors allow for fairly fine tuning of these parameters so whats the problem you're having with finding the perfect settings?

Also, some monitors have a auto configuration option that automatically adjusts these settings for you. Whether it adjusts them to the perfect level for you though, is another matter. I've got a 17in TFT monitor & the default settings on mine are way to bright for me as I'm fairly photophobic. I find that the default settings are a good place to start though.

Its a pain because it was working extremely well, and when i reset it, it changed, now im sure i hant changed them previously, so why is it doing it?

Never mind, i will have to do things to long way, finding a combination that works. Thnks for your help
