running xp home sp2

i cannot get mail sound notification working on outlook 6. or at least its intermittent

go to the control panel, sounds and applications. check to see if you have a sound set for "mail notification". you can also play it to see if you hear it. You can even change the sound to something else if you would like.

if this doesn't resolve the issue then we might need to reinstall outlook express.
