Whenever I do a System Restore on my computer it goes through its routine and then at the end says that it is unable to restore and no changes have been made. It worked in the past but then I got a corrupted partition. I had to call someone out to fix my computer but from a few months before the disk got corrupted until present I have not been able to use System Restore.

Any ideas on what I could do to get it working properly again?

Turn it off, reboot, turn it on, create a restore point
