Sometimes when I run Quicktime movies, they open up my internet explorer browser window, setting off all sorts of popups. I was wondering if there was a way for me to detect these files before I open them, or cut off Quicktime's link to the internet. Any help at all will be appriciated. I am running Quicktime 7.0.3. And not to be accused or misunderstood, I obtain all of my video files by legal means.

Thanks
