Problem with opening folders,etc.

Alright so whenever i click a folder on my desktop or try to access my computer or my C drive it gives me an error that looks like this ..... SysFader: explorer.exe - Application Error....then under that title it says.... The instruction at "0x02360065" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written". Click OK to terminate the program... i really would appreciate some help on this... again this is for EVERY folder i try to open

You might want to try a repair install of Windows XP. To learn how to do a repair install look here:
