I have recently signed up to Tiscali broadband and literally as soon as i uploaded the software i had this 'Members Access Area' symbol appear on my desktop. Well to cut a long story short i have founf this out to be a gb dialer, which everytime i connect to the interner tries to charge me £1.50 per min.

I delete it and it re-installs
I delete the internal modem, which it uses and it re-installs.

I have just subscribed to Norton antivirus but i hear it is not that good at getting rid of Spyware???

Please help before i throw my laptop out the window!!!! :) :tazz:

Have you gone to add/remove programs to uninstall it?

Here is our standard speech on cleaning yourself up. Hope it helps. :)

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results. :tazz:

Problem solved!! Installed Norton 2006 last night and it picked up the dialer, 2 Trojan viruses and removed them. Very good!
