Samsung 930b or Viewsonic VX924 Extreme

I would go for the ViewSonic. They are great monitors and 3ms is much better than 8ms response time, also try NewEgg and ZipZoomFly for better prices.

well thanks for the input. I changed my mind though and splurged a little over what I wanted to spend and got this/ gateway monitor. So far I love it. I haven't tried any FPS games yet but from all the reviews I have read it looks like it is a great monitor. I will re-post after I have sometime to tinker and play some games.
