could you give us the full errors and a description of the circumsances under which they appear? (i.e. what do you do to cause the errors)

I was trying to setup my Norton Virus Scan
Message Reads:
MIROCSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY
PROGRAM NAV\NAVSETUP.EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unsusual way. Please contact the application support team for more info.

Even tho that supports Windows 2000 and xp I still can download it? I have 98SE

Wellll, I tried downloading it, and received an Error message:

Run sfc /scannow. Since this is a Windows 98 system, I'm not as familiar with how to run it and how to set it up.
This following website will tell you all you need to know about setting up sfc and running it. Read carefully and follow the directions carefully.
