I have a dell a920 printer. Two weeks ago I couldn't access it at all. I unstalled all of it and tried re-installing it. No luck. Message " Unown print monitor" I've downloaded the drivers-nogood. Please don' send me to
Dell support. It's hard enough signing in!. OS -win xp I' ve plugged and unplugged all of the cables.

The other problem is the network setup. Both of my Computers are connected with Linksys to a gateway
I've run setup wizards (wireless and network) but can't get them to talk to each other.

TIA,Newfie

One issue at a time

Since Dell printers are rebadged Lexmarks, look through services for any lexmark services
right click MY COMPUTER choose Manage, choose "Services and Applications" choose services

Scroll down the list, you may need to check descriptions, but most start with L

Double click them

If any are STARTUP types are manual or DISABLED, set them to AUTOMATICALLY
