I tried everything I could think of and nothing seemed to work. Well then I got the bright idea to uninstall service pack 2. Well as soon as I did that I restarted my computer and everything is now working fine. I don't know if this will work for you but my problems didn't really start until after I installed Service pack 2. I hope this helps. Good luck...

Hi The Outlaw,

I have done the same but I think this is a work around and not a solution, as ultimately they're is still something on your system causing the problem with XP SP2.

I am going to try reinstalling SP2 after a bit of a clear up and see if that works.
