Hi

The icons next to the time (in the task bar) have disappeared and its cause of the inactive settings there is just nothing there. How do I fix this?Normally the sound icon, Norton and Winamp icons all appear at startup and now nothing is displated. How do I fix this?

Ok, hope this helps. Right-click of the task bar and go into you're properties and uncheck the hide inactive icons. Sorry if it doesn't help!
