I am wanting to voice-conference through msn messenger. I have a cheap mic purchased from BestBuy. I have plugged it into the back of my desktop and have no sound from it at all. I've also plugged it into my laptop and still have no sound. I took the mic back and purchased a different brand just in case. Still, no dice. I've checked the advanced settings on the volume control and neither the line-in nor the mic volumes are muted and the sound is all the way up on both. Also, on a side note, is there a better program if I want to voice-conference? I'm trying to keep from driving four hours a week for a weekly meeting. I would love to do it over the internet! Any help...? :tazz:
