Wrong way round '@ and "' characters

[size=4]Can someone help me on this? Everytime I goto type a e-mail address it ends up being 'someone"something.com' and I have to use shift and 2 to get the @ icon....I am slightly confused and it only happened since I re installed windows. Hmm...not quite sure I've tried the settings on language but no help :s

Click start then control panel, language and regional, then language and regional again, set each tab to UK, click apply, do this with each sub tab and click apply on each one before moving to the next tab, you may need to reboot

The language settings should have been part of the install
