I have a toshiba satellite here that just got sp2 installed on it. The touchpad is working to move around and to click but the scroll wheel is not working. I have tried rebooting and I have tried to uninstall and reinstall with minimal success. Is the anyone that can help?

Hi disturbd17...

Take a look at the "Mouse" properties in "Control Panel". Under the "Scrolling" tab, is "Verticle Scrolling" enabled?

It sure is. It actually is under the Wheel tab and doesn't have anything about vertical. But the scrolling is enable at three lines.

Hmmmm...

What verion of Internet Explorer do you have installed? If version 6.0 or below, Click on "Tools" and choose "Internet Options" Under the "Advanced" tab, scroll down the list and see if "Smooth Scrolling" is checked.

Oh no no, it's not the logitech we are having problems with. It's the touchpad inside the laptop that we are having the problems with.

:tazz: You topic title is a little misleading...or at least, I read it wrong...sorry.

Now that we're on the same page... :) ...what model satellite is this? Should be a model number on the computer itself.

Download and install This Driver for your touchpad.

Reboot and see if there is an improvement.
