Hi again,
I recently asked about why computer frequently crashes, especially when I open few windows and then try to close them. Unfortunately I haven't received any reply yet. I just thougth it would be better to ask why I can't close the windows that I've already opened. that includes any folders or even start menu!

Could somebody please help me with hthis problem because it is really frustrating to keep restarting the computer.
Thanks

Shahab

Ok, since I do not know too much about your system It is rather hard to trouble shoot this problem.
Please run a Hardware scan:
http://www.geekstogo...dows-t9970.html

And copy and paste the results into a reply
Then I will further Assess the problem.

Hi
I have updated to service pack 1a but the problem still exists. I have little problem opening a window, internet explorer or firefox, but closing the window takes ages and sometimes i end up restarting the computer especially when 2-3 windows are open. The computer has become extremely slow when closing the windows, but not nesessarily on the tasks performed in a single window, like searching or going back or forward, and when it gets busy performing a task, because of delay in doing it , it no longer allows any other tasks like opening a folder or another program. I have run spybot and adaware as well, with minimal effect.
Please please help me!!
Thanks
