I’m connected wirelessly to and ad hoc network without any WEB or Password, but I still cannot connect to the Internet, no websites are downloaded, no email or messenger.

Any advice on what part of the wireless configuration is missing or what else should I do?

Thanks,
MJ

Well, not, I'm visiting in a friend's appartment. and since he does not have any internet and my wirelees connected automatically to an account somewhere in the same building that is not WEP protected I would like to be able to check email and other stuff. I don't know how that wireless is set up or any other info, but it happened before and I remember that I was able to surf the net. Any advice?

if you don't own the wireless network you're connecting to..then we cannot help you....that is (in most locations) concidered theft and is not allowed here at this site...i appologize but this thread will now be closed

if you have any problems with this please pm a mod or an admin
