Incredimail and an Aim email address

I have an aim email address and I have it configured with the correct imap configuration. Up until about 2 days ago, I could retrieve my email with no problems. Now, I can send, but it will not receive. It will sit there and just connect, but never connects. Eventually it will say that the host did not answer. I tried to set up another aim account with Incredimail, and it wouldn't let me. I am guessing that there is something that is blocking it, but I cannot figure out what. No settings have been changed on my computer. With what I have said, is there anyone who might be able to figure this out? Thanks so much!!
