Does anyone know of and good free xp scan and fix programmes, i mean the ones where you spend all day scanning and dont have to pay to repair erros.

scan and fix what?

Most of these tools do very little for your PC, they clean out some registry entries that aren't really hurting anything, just taking up space The irony is that after the items are removed, the registry does not really get smaller anyway, since the space is still there, it's just empty, rather than showing data (imagine a bunch of 0s taking up a space on a type written page rather than text--that what removing items from the registry equates to)
